Network Business Unit Administrator at Salt South Africa

• You will support the Product Management function across all network services, including Fibre, DIA, MPLS, and LTE/5G. Your objective is to ensure accurate pricing, healthy gross margins, and seamless operational delivery through meticulous analysis and carrier coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial & Pricing Support: Manage custom connectivity pricing and validate carrier costs against retail rates to hit target gross margins
• Financial Oversight: Perform monthly carrier invoice reconciliations, validating billing against contracted rates and resolving discrepancies with finance teams.
• Reporting & Analysis: Track margin performance and produce monthly reports on costs, retail pricing, and new service provisions
• Renewals Management: Review customer renewals to assess profitability and propose redesigns or alternative provider options where necessary.
• Operational Approvals: Validate and approve connectivity costs and retail pricing while maintaining accurate records in internal systems

Key skills

• Technical Background: Solid experience with connectivity products (Fibre, MPLS, LTE, etc.) and a firm grasp of carrier cost structures
• Data Expertise: Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills are essential, specifically for VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex margin modeling
• Analytical Mindset: A strong ability to interpret carrier contracts and reconcile high-volume invoices with extreme attention to detail
