Be the technical owner of your workloads’ infrastructure
Automating tasks that can and should be automated
Explore ways to constantly improve quality of existing services, processes, and systems to maintain system effectiveness and reliability
Work to implement and make sure environments are structured and built with redundancy and “key component” failures in mind
Make sure environments and workloads are run as cost effective as possible
Help to ensure the delivery of infrastructure solutions in line with PCI-DSS and other compliance requirements, including documentation
Complete and perform daily, monthly and yearly audit requirements
What you'll need
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in networking
2 to 3 years routing experience (BGP / OSPF being of importance)
Advanced experience with dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP, Route Filters, etc.)
Experience with IPSec, GRE, and other secure tunneling methods, advantageous
Candidate should be fluent in most Layer 1, 2, and 3 networking technologies and be able to diagnose and repair faults on all three network layer
Previous experience with Amazon Web Services, with a core focus on connectivity, advantageous (VPN Gateways, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, Peering Connections, Routing, Security Groups, Hybrid Gateways, etc.)
Valid CCNA (routing & switching) or MTCNA (certification will be verified)
