Nightshift Warehouse Team Leader - Durban at Stratogo

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates during night shift operations.
• Ensure efficient and accurate execution of receiving, storing, picking, and shipping processes.
• Oversee inventory management, conducting regular checks and coordinating stock replenishment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
• Train, motivate, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize cross-functional communication and operations.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Generate and analyze performance reports, providing insights for process enhancements.
• Act as a liaison between warehouse staff and upper management, conveying relevant updates.

Desired Experience and Qualification:

• Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role, preferably during night shifts.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Leadership qualities with the capacity to inspire and guide a diverse team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational demands.
• Matric and additional education in logistics or a related field is a plus.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as required.
