    Nimart Nurse - Durban

    Description

    Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members; providing highly experienced and efficient clinical services and psychological support to participants, their families and supervising assigned team members whilst adhering to all relevant policies and regulations.

    Technical Work Responsibilities

    • Provide and supervise comprehensive, safe and effective evidence based clinical procedures to achieve identified health outcomes
    • Manage all activities required for the implementation of the programme
    • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the South African Nursing Council and the Health Professions Council of South Africa
    • Enforce the rights of all participants and maintain cultural sensitivity
    • Plan, evaluate and manage clinical procedures in consultation with the multidisciplinary team
    • Provide comprehensive reports and recommendations on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of processes.

    Requirements

    Education

    • Bachelor of Nursing Degree
    • Registration with the South African Nursing Council
    • NIMART
    • HIV/AIDS Counselling and Management Certificate or Similar
    • Dispensing license

    Advantageous

    • Advanced diploma in Primary Health Care

    Experience

    • Minimum 2 years’ in Key Populations programme
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in management of PrEP or ART clients
    • Extensive counselling experience

    Requirements

    • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
    • Overnight Travel when required
