Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Valid proof of registration with the SANC. Willing to work shifts in different departments. Sound communication.
Perform elementary clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards. Demonstrate elementary understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices. Display concern for patients.
Duties :
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Assist patients with physical care needs. Provide elementary clinical care nursing. Identify patient’s needs and address or report them promptly as per required standards.
Effective and efficient customer care according to Patient’s Right charter and Batho Pele Principles. Willing to work Night Duty and rotate in units when necessary. Knowledgeable and supporting in aspects of Reporting or handling patients’ complaints, Patient’s Safety Incidents and be actively involved in contributing towards Ideal Hospital activities/requirements.
Ensure compliance with the Ideal Hospital Framework, Batho Pele principles, and patient rights and Infection Prevention and Control. Contribute to managing complaints and patient safety incidents
