MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To lead and direct the nursing service in the hospital

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Compile, implement and monitor the hospital specific nursing strategy
• Drive and support a culture of quality nursing care and patient safety
• Manage resources to ensure optimal operational efficiency
• Manage the patient experience
• Lead and manage people in the nursing department
• Manage key stakeholder relations

Required Education

• ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: 3 or 4 year Diploma or 4 year Degree in Nursing; Nursing Management qualification
• DESIRED EDUCATION: Nursing Education qualification

Required Experience

• ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years professional experience in a tertiary healthcare institution; 2-3 years management experience in a tertiary healthcare institution
• DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Patient Safety management; Infection Prevention and Control management; Nursing Education
