Minimum Requirements: National Senior Certificate plus a recognized bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, proof of current registration with the HPCSA . knowledge of PFMA, PILIR, public health policies and legislation. Knowledge and skills in assessment and management of patients with physical and Psychiatric conditions, computer literacy. Applicant should be prepared to undergo medical surveillance.
Duties :
Plan and implement Occupational Therapy services in delegated subsection. supervise community service Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Technicians and Students.
Conduct home visits and report writing ( PILIR cases) ,Participate in professional development activities. Ensure accurate statistics collection in the subsection and compliance with record keeping and Quality Assurance standards.
Comply with the Performance Management and Development System (Contracting, reviews and final assessment).
