Increase the John Crane market share at existing customers.
Promote full range of John Crane products at the existing customers.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities at ‘new’ & ‘dormant’ customers.
Prepare and achieve annual budgets.
Create a sales dashboard tracking the progress of customer sales and orders against target.
Develop a customer action plan to develop existing and new customers.
Create a market development plan for acquiring new customers and projects.
Work closely with the global John Crane projects team and ensure that all projects are tracked and reported within the team.
Monthly reporting on business development and market movements, including competitive review.
Regular planned calling on specific customers.
Maintain strong relationships with customers.
Ensure that John Crane is the preferred supplier at Identify and cultivate new, commercially viable, business opportunities, using the full John Crane product range.
Provide technical on-site support to customers.
Willing to work after hours and of weekends if required.
Willing to travel internationally
Required Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience with Rotating Equipment, including Pump, Compressors, Turbines.
Qualified tradesman an added advantage.
Experience working with OEMs
Valid Driver’s license.
Proactive and self-motivated.
Entrepreneurial skills and ability to work with limited supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong leadership and influential characteristics.
Report writing skills.
Self-disciplined and confident demeanour.
Effective time management skills.
Extensive experience working in the Power Generation, Oil & Gas and Mining industries would be an added advantage.
Extensive experience of John Crane and/or competitive products would be a further advantage.
