    Office Manager - Cape Town

    Job Purpose:

    We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Office Manager in our Cape Town office. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. Your primary focus will be on managing administrative tasks, coordinating office procedures, and optimizing office operations to enhance productivity and employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. You will report into the UK’s Office and Environment Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage day-to-day office operations, including administrative tasks, facility management, and vendor coordination.
    • Collaborate on office policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with company standards.
    • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
    • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for senior management and staff.
    • Manage expenses, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed.
    • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, promote cross-functional teamwork, and resolve operational issues.
    • New starter onboarding, benefits administration 

    Qualifications & Requirements: 

    • Administrative/Secretarial Certificate
    • At least 2 years secretarial experience
    • Attention to detail, can manage own work, follows up, contributes to team success and good communication skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook)
