Job Description

This role is responsible for delivering audit assignments in time and in accordance with OMF Internal Audit methodology and as per agreed quality standards, through staff supervised. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through others. Requires more experience than the Auditor role.

• Delivers audit assignments in time in accordance with OMF Internal Audit methodology and as per agreed quality standards.
• Prepares audit planning memorandum /scope letter.
• Develops process understanding.
• Prepares risk and control matrices.
• Performs substantive testing to obtain effectiveness assessment of controls.
• Communicates results of audit findings to clients.
• Manages and coaches up to 2 staff members on specific aspects of the audit work.
• Gains and applies industry and technical knowledge.
• Develops and maintains client relationships at the appropriate level

Minimum requirements

• BCom Degree or equivalent degree in Internal Auditing
• CIA would be to your advantage
• 5 years internal audit experience
• 3 years audit experience in lending and banking
