    OMS Foreman - Durban

    What you'll have done before:

    Baseline:

    • NQF Level 5 Certificate in Engineering with Maths and Science
    • 3 Years’ experience in Operations/Maintenance;
    • SAP ERP
    • Computer Literacy

    Advantageous:

    • Diploma in Mechanical /Chemical Engineering.
    • Compressor and Boiler Operation Certificates.
    • 5 years operation of utilities such as Boiler and Compressors.
    • Ship discharge operation.
    • Understanding of Waste and Effluent management.

    What you'll be doing:

    Planning

    • Minimise impact on business during transfer/receipts;
    • Notifications issued;
    • Cost Effective base oils movement between the plants;
    • Optimize and effectively manage Inter-tanks movements;
    • Inspection of Flexible Hoses before use at the Berth and Plant;
    • Boiler chemicals and effluent system controlled to optimise plants.

    Inventory Management

    • Weekly and monthly stock takes, and variances controlled;
    • Inventory variations managed within acceptable targets;
    • Receipt, storage and handling are done according to prescribed specifications and standards;
    • Draining’s and slop accounted for and managed

    Oil Movement & Storage

    • Coordinate Balance between production and transfers /receipts;
    • Nil contaminations and /or LOPC;
    • Ensure/Maintain Product quality;
    • Stock levels compatible with offtakes;
    • Responsible for checking wharf lines ups for transfers and ship discharges;
    • Operations checklist;
    • Wharf discharge log sheet

    HSEQ

    • Initiate and manage berth maintenance;
    • Regular review & updates on work instructions procedures;
    • Represent the Engen interest in terms of HSE and operations during the ship offloading;
    • Ensure safety of Engen’s assets, people and other resources.

    Expense Management

    • Gains and Loses monitoring;
    • Variance resolved.
