Are you an experienced OpenText and Appworks Functional Application Specialist with a passion for driving business objectives through seamless system configuration? Our client, a prominent South African bank, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team on a 12-month contract.
In this critical role, you will play a key part in supporting the bank’s business goals by ensuring the effective configuration, upgrades, and user interface management of OpenText xECM and Appworks. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering top-tier solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business, ensuring smooth operations and enhanced functionality across the systems.
Requirements
Degree (NQF 7) in Computer Science or Information Management and similar;
3 - 5 years of experience in a business analysis environment, specifically in OpenText applications;
Quality assurance knowledge and skill;
Business transformation and optimisation knowledge
Elicitation techniques knowledge
Continuous improvement knowledge
Continued learning/professional development knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Provide OpenText application functional support to the organisation's applications for users in the group and its subsidiaries;
Drive business analysis initiatives for the organisation's applications enhancements from the initiation to the implementation of projects;
Facilitate workshops and consult with business owners and other stakeholders with regard to problem definition and the identification of business requirements/ needs;
Review business processes and procedures, analyse business requirements/needs and associated data, and identify possible solutions;
Expand the scope and feasibility of solutions and develop the supporting business cases;
Facilitate user requirement management throughout the system development life cycle;
Manage change requirements and supporting specifications and provide functional specification and manage acceptance testing;
Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality service and fit-for-purpose solutions;
Configure complex business processes and tasks (where appropriate) within a system for improvement;
Identify and register risks within their application functional streams;
Configure (functional) the application as per approved business requirements and align with best practice;
Develop systems training material and training plans, and present training courses in support of new application functions.
