Operational Manager Nursing: General Unit Grade 1: Cardiology - 3 positions
Grade 12. Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) in terms of government Notice 425 i.e diploma/degree in Nursing as a Professional Nurse.
A minimum of 7 (Seven) years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council in General Nursing.
Diploma/Degree in Nursing Management will be an added advantage.
South African nursing Council annual practicing certificate.
Verified proof of experience.
Service certificates compulsory.
Computer literate.
Valid EB driver's license. strong leadership, good communication and sound interpersonal skills are necessary.
Duties :
Supervise and ensure the provision of effective and efficient patient care through adequate nursing care.
Co-ordinate and monitor the implementation of the nursing care plan and the evaluation thereof.
Provide relevant health information to health care plan and evaluation thereof.
Provide relevant health information to health care users to assist in achieving optimal quality health care and rehabilitation of patients.
Maintain constructive working relationships with nursing and other stakeholders i.e inter-professional, inter-sectoral and multi-disciplinary teamwork.
Participate in the analysis, formulation and implementation of nursing guidelines, practices, standards and procedures.
Manage and monitor proper utilization of human, financial and physical resources.
Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and development of self and subordinates.
