This role is a key part of the Operations Leadership Team (OLT). The role is responsible for leading Operations projects across the region and initiatives aimed at harmonizing and standardizing operations processes, designing and deploying new capabilities, developing measurements and reports, integrate acquired businesses and drive business performance improvement for the Operations function. Autonomously interact and influence key stakeholders and functional and business leaders at all levels across EEMEA and globally.
Main Responsibilities:
Full responsibility to lead (and deliver) Operations key projects and initiatives with cross-functional impact linked to customer service, warehousing, assets, logistics and supply chain.
Delivering project streams, change management and process alignments in tight timeframes, on budget and by power of influence and achieving through teams and stakeholders
Design & facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables including the definition of project tasks, resource requirement, development of full-scale project plans and management of associated budgets.
Drive operational excellence through the country teams within Operations by standardizing and implementing robust, scalable and lean processes including clear roles and responsibilities, KPI’s and metrics.
Serves as a connecting link between all OLT, Operations teams and cross-functional stakeholders, with the main purpose to drive critical projects, capability enhancements and improved performance in Quality, Service, and Efficiency, as well as financial indexes.
Will be responsible for multiple projects at any given time, ability to co-ordinate all the actions, follow up, provide updates and be a crucial part of the OLT success deliverables
Track project and improvement deliverables using appropriate tools and report out project status to key stakeholders at defined intervals all the while holding the teams accountable for delivering.
Leads and support continuous improvement projects and process improvement initiatives across the Operations teams.
Leads regular program/project timelines, milestones and related KPI reviews and oversees the actions to close potential gaps to targets.
Works with EU & LATAM teams to adopt best practice sharing on any initiatives, projects, improvements or processes
Required Skills & Experience:
+5 years’ experience working in a role leading Operatiions, Customer Service, Supply chain, Continuous improvement, Logistics project logistics and/or customer operations
Fluency in English
ERP Experience (Oracle, MFG Pro, SAP)
Project Management experience is essential.
Experience in medical device industry in Operations with knowledge of regulation, legacy process and systems is a benefit but not essential.
Background in continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma Certification or PMO certification desired but not essential.
Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.
Ability to work with and present to various levels of management up to Senior Leadership
