• Santam Specialist Business has a career opportunity for an Operations Manager- Heavy Haulage in Heavy Haulage (Transport) team who will be based in Johannesburg. The Heavy Haulage (Transport) team specializes in insuring heavy commercial vehicles in the transport industry. 

ROLE PURPOSES

• To manage and oversee Team Leaders
• To manage and oversee credit control function ( Binder allocations/ annual premium allocations)
• Employee Development and upskilling
• Compliance adherence and reporting function
• Compliance Reviews – Outsource and Binder (Rm support) 
• System Training for Outsource Partners 
• Recruitment – Administrative and Sales
• Handling of Complaints and Escalations and Reporting

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure operational administrative and compliance requirements are met

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Regulatory Requirement (RE5), relevant Insurance related accreditation or qualification.
• Leadership accreditation or qualification, and/or leading a team.
• 5 years of experience in commercial insurance
• Problem solving
