Operations Manager: Rehabilitation Hospitals at Intercare Group South Africa

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• Develop, implement, and manage operational strategies to drive efficiency and standardisation.
• Lead hospital teams, ensuring effective staff development and performance management.
• Monitor financial and operational performance to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DOH), Department of Labour (DOL), and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS 16.2 A) requirements.
• Foster relationships with medical professionals to drive brand loyalty and patient referrals.
• Oversee patient experience, handling escalated complaints and ensuring high service standards.
• Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Drive and oversee key strategic projects and hospital performance initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Diploma in General Nursing / BCur Degree or any other relevant qualification. Registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ management experience, preferably in a physical rehabilitation or medical environment.
• Competencies: Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Other: Own transport, willingness to travel frequently between hospitals, and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
