A modern and technology-driven security company, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage their guarding division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of security personnel, client service delivery, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily security operations and deployment of guards
Supervise site supervisors and security officers
Conduct regular site inspections and client visits
Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and replacements
Ensure compliance with PSIRA regulations and company procedures
Handle incident reporting and operational documentation
Address client concerns and maintain strong client relationships
Recruit, train, and discipline security personnel
Maintain high service standards across all security sites
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the security industry
Previous experience managing security operations or multiple security sites
Strong leadership and staff management skills
Good communication and problem-solving ability
PSIRA registered (Grade A preferred)
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge of security compliance and operational procedures Advantageous:
Background in SAPS, military, or senior security supervision
Experience managing 30+ guards or multiple sites
Strong understanding of security technology (CCTV, control rooms, access control)
