This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Manager at our Cape Town location. The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations, manage logistics, coordinate with various departments, and ensure efficiency in all processes. Responsibilities include inventory management, quality control, staff supervision, and implementing operational policies. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for maintaining safety standards, optimizing resource use, and contributing to strategic planning.
Qualifications
Strong leadership, team management, and supervisory skills
Experience in logistics, inventory management, and quality control
Proven ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
Experience in the container industry is a plus
Proficient in Project Management and Workflow control
