Operations Team Leader (Cleaning Services): Bloemfontein at FS Personnel Recruitment

Job Purpose:

• Oversee and support cleaning operations across multiple sites, ensuring high hygiene standards, effective staff performance, and strong client relationships.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience working in a hygiene or cleaning environment or in a management role will be beneficial.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle to get to work and back
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay overnight when required
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in various regions as per operational requirements
• Role requires working in various operational environments
• Location: Free State / Northern Regions

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site visits across allocated regions
• Supervise and support cleaning staff and supervisors
• Ensure store hygiene and compliance standards are consistently met
• Build and maintain strong client relationships (e.g. retail stores)
• Provide on-site staff training and guidance
• Perform staff vetting and performance monitoring
• Liaise with clients and internal teams regarding service delivery
• Oversee operations across approximately 10 Supervisors and 38 staff members
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and hygiene standards
