Operator Loader - Northam Development at Redpath Mining

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Matric certificate / equivalent
• Valid Operator’s competency license
• Competent A, B and C
• Dover test
• Medically fit
• Valid First Aid Certificate

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• At least 3 years experience in the similar field
• Knowledge of MHSA
• Effective communication skills

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for loading ore or waste materials
• Safe and effecting of loading and off loading of materials
• Perfoming routine maintenance and ensuring the machine is in good working order
• Maintain safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any hazards or maintenance needs
• Perfoming daily pre-operational checks, routine maintenance and accurate records of machine operation
• Keeping the work area and the machine clean and organized
• Perform various tasks assigned by supervisor, which may include shovelling, hosing or other manual labour
• Perform backfill excavations, loading trucks, moving raw materials, finished products or waste
• Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and safe operations
• Accurate record keeping and report any hazards and unsafe act
• Adhere to the machine limitations
