Job Advert Summary    

• The purpose of this position is to operate and monitor processing equipment within the Processing Department in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring efficient production, product quality, and compliance with safety and operational standards.                                                                                              

Requirements    

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
• Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques, and processes at the required  
• Experience in Processing department advantageous.
• Business English: Fluent
• Computer literacy (Basic) 
• Work in extreme
• Work shifts/weekends/public

Duties and Responsibilities    
Operate, monitor, and control plant processes.  

• Operate processing equipment e.g. pasteuriser, homogeniser, separator, etc. in line with standard operating procedure (SOP) 
• Ensure yield and throughput in the  
• Assist with efficiency improvement and/or reduction of operating  
• Maintain adequate records of key production variables, such as: production volume & yield, plant up- and down-time, utility consumption etc. on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as  
• Participate in programs and procedures required to ensure plant  

Ensure quality assurance.  

• Ensure integrity of raw materials and product 
• Communicate directly with laboratory to ensure effective participation in the implementation of QA policies and  
• Sample and test processstreams as required by the QA program and  
• Maintain QA  
• Understand and interpret QA results and take appropriate action when  

Assist with plant maintenance and safety program.  

• Communicate equipment related problems directly to the maintenance  
• Perform preventative maintenance activities as  
• Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance-related
