Responsible for executing production or logistics activities according to the Schedule and operate the physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by HSEC equipment’s, the Operation’s standards and operating procedures.
The duties will include but are not limited to:
Must be able to operate different Trucks
Work under physically uncomfortable conditions (Vibrations)
Count and record loads
Required to complete all operations from Extraction to Exposure and vice versa
Additional required to do construction work
Diagnose the machine to report to Artisan
Test drive the machines after the Artisan attendance
Use Nozzle to refill diesel
Loading discard and burning coal
Inspect and ensure that the working is safe
Ensure compliance to safety procedures
Operating continuously 12 hours inclusive of 1hour break
Report all machine defects to the Supervisor and control room
Adhere to instructions from his/ her direct Supervisor
It’s a support equipment to shovel and loader, no truck, no shovel / loader operations
Operate equipment, valuates onsite conditions, makes tactical decisions and determines appropriate responses
Responsible for adhering to operational requirements, principles and procedures, maintenance and training in the use of appropriate personal protection equipment
Responsible for upkeep of equipment and securely stored
Ensure that maintenance checks are scheduled and completed at the required standard
Look at task list and list priorities for the day and record the findings on a pre- shift check book
You will need:
Grade 12
Valid Driver’s License
Rigid Dump Truck License / Certificate of Competency
In possession of or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness
Subject to a Dover test and must meet the minimum requirements
