Description

 Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and clean/sanitise machinery according to set standards to meet production KPIs. Perform various tasks to fit auxiliary equipment.

There are current vacancies for Operators in the Softgel manufacturing and Packing departments.

• Facilitate movement of raw materials to/from the required production area and verify quality.
• Accurate completion of production-related paperwork.
• Perform production line opening and pre-operation activities.
• Set up, operate, and monitor multiple pieces of line equipment during operation to ensure efficient, quality production with minimal unplanned stops according to SOP.
• Adjust machines as needed for changeovers.
• Complete production run within the specified time.
• Conduct in-process checks.
• Resolve problems by analysing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
• Maintain housekeeping and quality/safety standards.
• Perform minor maintenance checks and troubleshooting according to SOP.

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate, preferably with Mathematics.
• Previous packing/manufacturing experience in a GMP production environment.
• N2 technical qualification will be advantageous.
• Basic electrical knowledge will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of GMP/HACCP and health and safety.
• High attention to detail, good problem-solving skills and pro-active thinking skills.
