Assist with the maintenance and application of the Development Delivery System (DDS™) by supporting the Service Technician in daily inspections, monitoring equipment status, reporting DDS™ emulsion levels underground, and performing minor repairs when required.
Provide technical support on explosives products to mining personnel through on-the-job training in charging and connecting Enaex explosive products, and by offering guidance on the safe use of related equipment and materials.
Support machinery and equipment maintenance by acting as the first responder to breakdowns, identifying root causes, performing permitted repairs, adhering to correct repair procedures, and submitting detailed breakdown and maintenance reports.
Promote a safe and efficient work environment by identifying hazards and risks, conducting pre-task risk assessments, reporting spillages, performing density checks, maintaining records, following up on management recommendations, and submitting monthly or ad hoc reports on site conditions.
Assist in the safe handling and application of explosives by evaluating product application processes, ensuring compliance with training guidelines, handling, storing, and transporting products safely, and conducting blast surveys in line with designed criteria when required.
