    Explosives Operator Gr 2 (Mpumalanga - Dorstfontein)

    Description

    • Participate in training sessions and actively seek answers to queries on a daily and as-needed basis. 
    • Comply with operational processes by keeping knowledge up to date, applying correct procedures, and addressing concerns as they arise. 
    • Propose process improvements by identifying gaps, presenting suggestions to the line manager, and providing relevant supporting information
    • Load and unload the MMU safely and accurately by securing the loading area, verifying material specifications, and inspectingthe unit for proper functionality. 
    • Use appropriate toolsand equipment, monitoring material quantities, and following established procedures.
    • Maintain effective stakeholder relationships by liaising with internal and external stakeholders, exchanging feedback, and collaborating as needed.

    Assistant Magazine Master (North West - Klerksdorp)

    Description

    • Support full and on-time order deliveries by maintaining minimum stock levels and conducting 3-way checks.
    • Track internal and external stock availability and monitor real-time stock movement on SAP.

    Description

    Site Administrator (Maternity cover) (Northern Cape)

    Description

    • Support the team in meeting targets, deadlines, and quality standards by understanding project objectives, coordinating tasks and timelines, and communicating priorities and expectations effectively. 
    • Assist with stock control by labelling, categorising, and tracking inventory using the system; support stock receipt, ensure accurate data entry and storage, perform stock checks, and report discrepancies to the Site Supervisor. 
    • Assist the team in aligning tasks with budget requirements by tracking expenditures, communicating budget status, negotiating favourable supplier terms, identifying cost-saving opportunities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely invoice processing. 
    • Promote operational efficiency by inspecting infrastructure, equipment, and tools; identifying damage or malfunction; scheduling preventative maintenance; and providing training on proper usage and care. 
    • Minimise site risks by regularly inspecting for hazards and safety concerns, monitoring equipment and environmental conditions, understanding emergency response protocols, and keeping the team informed of safety measures.

    Ops Chargehand (Fixed Term) (North West - Rustenburg)

    Description

    • Assist with the maintenance and application of the Development Delivery System (DDS™) by supporting the Service Technician in daily inspections, monitoring equipment status, reporting DDS™ emulsion levels underground, and performing minor repairs when required. 
    • Provide technical support on explosives products to mining personnel through on-the-job training in charging and connecting Enaex explosive products, and by offering guidance on the safe use of related equipment and materials. 
    • Support machinery and equipment maintenance by acting as the first responder to breakdowns, identifying root causes, performing permitted repairs, adhering to correct repair procedures, and submitting detailed breakdown and maintenance reports. 
    • Promote a safe and efficient work environment by identifying hazards and risks, conducting pre-task risk assessments, reporting spillages, performing density checks, maintaining records, following up on management recommendations, and submitting monthly or ad hoc reports on site conditions. 
    • Assist in the safe handling and application of explosives by evaluating product application processes, ensuring compliance with training guidelines, handling, storing, and transporting products safely, and conducting blast surveys in line with designed criteria when required. 

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent  
    • Blaster Assistant Skills Programme 
    • Competent B for Underground Mining 
    • 2+ years’ mining experience
