Purpose:

• The purpose of Global Information Management (IM) is to enable the delivery of business processes, communication, collaboration, and knowledge management through the deployment, support, and maintenance of enterprise technology, infrastructure, applications, and mine technical systems. To own stakeholder relationship and service delivery for technical systems and Industrial IT (IIT) / OperationaL Technology (OT) services for their relevant sites and regions.

Responsibilities:

• Azure automation & orchestration.
• Azure Policy.
• Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps (VSTS) to deploy infrastructure and applications.
• ARM Templates.
• Azure CLI/Powershell/JSON scripting.
• Experience of version control systems such as Azure DevOps (VSTS) and Git.
• Knowledge of deployment orchestration and configuration management tools (eg Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of Azure AD/Active Directory.

Formal qualifications:

• An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM Discipline and Technical competencies and certification with relevant years of experience in a similar role.
• Desirable: It would be advantageous to have a postgraduate qualification in the relevant IM discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity. 

Role-specific knowledge:

• 3+ years' Azure experience (IaaS, PaaS).
•  Delivery focused with the ability to drive tasks forward and meet demanding deadlines.
• Strong problem investigation and diagnosis skills.
• A willingness to be flexible in terms of location, hours and types of work undertaken.
• Effective team management to ensure resource utilization across the portfolio.
