Packaging Engineer at DAV Professional Placement Group

Introduction:
One of South Africa’s multinational FMCG companies is looking for a Packaging Engineer in there plant based in Johannesburg East. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Implement, maintain and continually improve policies/ procedures to ensure consistency in plant technical performance.
• Take lead and delivering annual shutdowns in packaging.
• Providing input and support to manufacturing and development department, whilst ensuring compliance with customer, technical and legislative requirements within their group.
• Assist with Project Engineer with installation and commissioning of project execution.
• Manage projects of a smaller nature.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Bsc or B-Tech in Engineering (Mechanical / or similiar)
• GCC Factories Certified
• Minimum 5 years working experience in a FMCG packaging environment (Bottling experience preferred)
• Be able to operate in a fast moving production environment
