Packaging Machine Specialist - Inspection & Coding at The South African Breweries (SAB)

The key purpose of this role is to performs activities related to inspection and coding optimization and apply VPO principles. The Inspection and Coding Specialist must ensure a safe and healthy working environment and supports the installations of process control relevant electrical systems, as well as to maintain, calibrate, repair equipment, optimize plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality.

Profile

• Min – Electrical or Instrumentation
• Trade tested Millwright or electrician/ National Diploma Engineering
• Min – 3 - 6 months on the job training plus Vendor Maintenance
• 6 - 9 months on the job plus Siemens S7 PLC Training
• Routine electrical and instrumentation maintenance on similar. Brewing and E&F plants
• Comprehensive Packaging, Brewing and E&F plants equipment and process knowledge
• Analytical ability and attention to detail
• Display initiative and ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization within a team environment and with suppliers
• Motivated self-starter with high energy levels
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player
