About the Role

We are looking for a candidate who will embrace this dynamic opportunity and is keen to grow with us in manufacturing. The overall objective of the position is to be able to pack pouches/to work on the mixing, sealing taping and packing of the tubs in the Cuticell Department. What You Will Do

• Ensure that machine safety interlocks are always operational and the Tubs machine is running according to the required product being processed. 
• Maintain good housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practices conditions in Cuticell.
• Complete the daily worksheet and record all products that are packed and record all the rejects in the record book.
• Perform in-process quality checks to ensure that the product meets the minimum required quality standards. 
• Operate according to the Work instructions and OPL’s of the Cuticell Area.
• Always monitor the machine and do minor adjustments when required.
• Adhere to the Hygiene SOP for entering, exiting, and operating in the specific department. 
• Assist the team leader during the stocktake
• Ensure daily targets are met and recorded in the book.

Who You Are

• Must have Matric with basic numerical skills.
• Machine operating and previous production experience would be an advantage
• Must work well within a team and independently.
• Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written.)
