    Paid Media Specialist

    • A powerhouse in South Africa’s retail and e-commerce landscape is looking for a sharp, data-obsessed Paid Media Specialist to join their Digital team at their Cape Town Head Office.
    • This is an opportunity to take ownership of performance marketing across two highly recognised retail brands, driving traffic, revenue, and measurable ROI in a fast-paced, high-volume online environment. You will not just be pushing ads live, you will be shaping strategy, optimising performance daily, and uncovering growth opportunities through smart data analysis and creative collaboration.
    • If you live in Google Ads, understand the nuance between scaling and wasting spend, and get excited about ROAS improvements, this role offers real impact and visibility.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Daily hands-on management and optimisation of paid media accounts across Google Ads, including Search, Shopping and PMAX, as well as Meta and TikTok
    • Develop and implement PPC strategies aligned to each brand’s commercial objectives
    • Conduct audience research, keyword analysis and ongoing competitor research to identify new growth opportunities
    • Implement and monitor tracking solutions, including pixels and API integrations, to ensure accurate attribution
    • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly performance reports with clear, actionable recommendations to improve ROAS
    • Analyse campaign data and continuously optimise bidding strategies, audiences, creative variations and landing pages
    • Collaborate closely with the creative team to guide high-performing ad formats and messaging
    • Monitor digital trends and platform updates to keep campaigns competitive and innovative

    Requirements:

    • 2 to 3 years’ hands-on experience managing Google, Meta and TikTok PPC campaigns within a digital agency or e-commerce environment
    • Strong proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, TikTok Business Center and Google Analytics GA4
    • Relevant degree or diploma in Marketing or Digital Media
    • Current Google Ads and Analytics certifications
    • Strong analytical ability with experience interpreting complex performance data
    • Ability to troubleshoot tracking issues and make data-driven optimisation decisions
    • Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to present performance insights clearly to stakeholders
    • Highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple deadlines across different brands
