As an Initiator you will be responsible for providing legal advise to Boxing SA management pertaining the allegations or transgression, the Panel of Initiators will:
Investigations of allegations against the licensees.
Gathering of all relevant evidence on the alleged misconduct by the licensees.
Interviewing of all possible witnesses and other relevant parties and recording of statements.
Assessing the authenticity and admissibility of the evidence gathered.
Requirements:
Applicants should be in possession of a Post Graduate degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) and be admitted as an attorney or advocate in South Africa.
Minimum ten (10) years of proven experience in legal practice, with a focus on disciplinary proceedings, labour law, or sports law.
Minimum five (05) years of experience serving on disciplinary committees or tribunals.
Knowledge of the South African Boxing Act, 2001, and the Boxing Regulations, 2004, will be an added advantage
