Requirements Junior Consultant

• NQF 7 Qualification (Accounting), professional registration will serve as an advantage
• Three Years’ accounting experience preferably within the public/municipal sector.
• Working knowledge of the CaseWare Accounting System.
• Ability to analyse financial data and to facilitate corrective action to resolve inconsistencies on financial management systems.
• Knowledge of GRAP Standards.

Requirements Senior Consultant

• NQF 7 Qualification (Accounting), professional registration will serve as an advantage
• Eight Years’ accounting experience preferably within the public/municipal sector.
• Expert knowledge of GRAP Standards.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of asset management practices in the public sector.
• Ability to assist client organisations to develop and implement Audit Improvement Plans.
• Ability to assess the performance of the financial systems of client organisations and to develop/manage the implementation of customised intervention programmes.
• Extensive experience in managing project teams to develop the Annual Financial Statements of Municipalities/Public Sector Organisations.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of CaseWare Applications.
• Extensive knowledge and experience assisting client organisations to resolve matters raised by the Auditor-General.
• Extensive knowledge of the provisions of the Public Finance Management Act/Municipal Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulatory Frameworks.
• The ability to develop and implement skills transfer programmes to minimise the dependency of client organisations on external technical support.
