Parts Interpreter at Kempston Recruitment

Key Skills and Requirements: 

• Completed Matric certificate or equivalent
• 3+ years' experience in part sales, counter sales or a technical background
• Previous agricultural industry experience will be highly advantageous 
• Fluent in English or Afrikaans 
• Valid drivers' license - essential 
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude 
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Outlook and Excel

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
The successful candidate would be required but not limited to: 

• Identify, source and supply replacement parts using digital catalogues technical manuals, schematic drawings and engine serial numbers  
• Engage with customers to accurately determine parts requirements
• Maintaining warehouse stock levels and coordinate the ordering and tracking of specialized components
• Recommending alternative or aftermarket parts where OEM components are unavailable or on backorder
• Providing technical support and guidance to customers and workshop staff
