• Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for payroll? We’re on the lookout for a Payroll Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment to manage payroll for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• In this role, you will ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with statutory and legislative requirements while handling a variety of payroll queries with professionalism and care.

Minimum Requirements    

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in payroll administration.
• Sage 300 experience is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Solid understanding of payroll best practices and relevant legislation (UIF, PAYE, BCEA, etc.).
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Full payroll administration for 200–400 employees across approximately 50 clients.
• EMP501 annual and interim submissions, including handling variances, query checks, and reconciliations.
• Administering and updating store contracts as required.
• Managing COIDA (Workman’s Compensation) annual submissions and related queries.
• Submission of UI19s, UI2.7s, and work schedules to the Department of Employment and Labour, including follow-ups on queries.
• Efficient handling and resolution of general employee and client payroll queries.
• Applying a solid understanding of the BCEA and LRA in payroll processes and decision-making.
