Payroll Supervisor at Salt South Africa

• This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, analytical and experienced in managing payroll processes accurately and efficiently within a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise payroll clerks and ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
• Audit payroll information and resolve discrepancies
• Reconcile payroll with the general ledger and cash book
• Deliver professional service to internal stakeholders
• Lead, mentor and support the payroll team

Requirements:

• Matric or relevant tertiary qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar payroll role
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong customer service orientation
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
