Performance Analyst at Coronation Fund Managers

Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a quantitative graduate / specialist to join a leading asset manager. Coronation, based in Cape town, is looking for a Performance Analyst to support the Investment Risk and Performance team in providing the business with accurate performance and risk, and attribution calculations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Full involvement in the performance cycle
• Responsible for daily and monthly performance procedure
• Ad hoc performance queries
• Ex-post performance and risk analysis
• Compiling and evaluating performance data for business pitches
• Responsible for the performance data sign off process.
• Maintenance of performance databases
• Maintenance of performance systems

Ideal Experience

• Up to 5 years of working experience as a performance analyst within asset management would be an advantage but should not be a barrier to you applying.

Ideal Qualifications

• Financial mathematics or statistical orientation
• BBusSci/ BComm (Actuarial, Quantitative Management)
• BSc (Maths, Statistics)

• Statpro (Performance & Attribution, Interactive) an advantage
• Morningstar Direct, INet an advantage
