Key Responsibilities of the Job

1. Designing safe and effective exercise programs for your client base
2. Providing high levels of customer service to personal training clients and all Virgin Active members
3. Building a sustainable personal training client base by continually adding new clients and retaining existing clients
4. Completing and maintaining accurate personal training client records stored in the designated club areas
5. Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
6. Respond and act in the case of club emergencies
7. Participate in all club related activities as required
8. Helping create a fun atmosphere within the fitness areas
9. Follow all Personal Training guidelines and standards as set by Virgin Active
10. Ensure that all certificate is valid and up to date according to industry standards

Minimum requirements

Matric qualification

1. A recognized Personal Training qualification
2. 1- 2 years’ experience within personal training
3. A current First Aid, CPR and AED certification
4. An outgoing and friendly personality coupled with good communication skills
5. Self-motivated to achieve set income targets
6. Self-disciplined to build and maintain a client base
