Summary
- The incumbent will assist the pharmacist in dispensing and to perform pharmacy related administrative duties.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
- Qualified as post basic pharmacist assistant
- Registered as a post basic pharmacist assistant with pharmacy council advantageous
Work Experience
- Two years’ experience in a similar position in a pharmacy
- Working experience in private healthcare or healthcare funding industry will be advantageous
- Ability to adhere to principles and values at all time
- Ability to presenting and communicating information
Knowledge
- Dispensing knowledge
- Computer Literacy essential.
- Fluent communication in English essential.
- Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems
- Working with people
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
- Following instructions and procedures
- Coping with pressures and setbacks
