Overview

• Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services (within scope of practice) and performing day-to-day dispensary administration according to company's Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).

Purpose and Objectives

Job Objectives:

• High standards of customer service and care
• Efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine
• Efficient dispensary administration
• Accurate compounding
• Provision of general health advice
• High standards of housekeeping and merchandise display
• Ad hoc requirements as per operational requirements

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Experience requirements:

• Matric with Maths (Essential)
• Qualified Pharmacist Assistant Post-Basic - Community
• Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge:
• Product knowledge (Health isle and OTC)
• SAPC and relevant legal knowledge
• Customer service orientated
• Team Player
• Integrity
• Ethical working practice and compliance
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic calculations
• IT Business Operating Systems
• MS Office
