Pharmacy Assistant

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- To collect and deliver pharmaceutical items/products and related documents within the hospital
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Ensure that collections and deliveries are made from/to units and stores
- Deliver a messenger and administrative service to the pharmacy
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12
- DESIRED EDUCATION: None
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Essential Experience : None
- Desired experience: 1 – 2 years working in or exposure to a private hospital environment
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Storage conditions of pharmaceutical products
- Verbal communication skills
- Cold chain policy
- Handling of hazardous substances
