A vacancy exists for a Pharmacy Stock Controller based at Life The Glynnwood, reporting to Tau Motatinyane, Inventory Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Pharmacy services within the hospital environment by ensuring that the quality pharmaceutical services, financial objectives, legislative compliance and people management requirements are achieved to the required standards.
Critical Outputs
Ordering of surgical stock for Pharmacy / Theatres / Wards and Dialysis
Meet stock cover and stock holding targets monthly and ensure stock security
Maintain MRP levels, with internal compliance of 80% and external compliance of 75%
Reduce operational inefficiencies.
Management of MIR6 / GIRI and Unrecorded liabilities.
Management of Non-Recoverable utilisation
Stock counts in assigned surgical bins with a year on year improvement of gross variance %
Accurate receipting of invoices daily
Identify and address inappropriate utilisation of stock items
Adherence to all stock and pharmacy related procedures.
Daily filing of invoices and documentation
Requirements
Grade 12
Inventory management experience specifically within a pharmacy environment is essential
The successful candidate will be required to be available for weekend and public holiday duties on a rotational basis
