    Clinical Engineering Administrator

    • A vacancy exists for a Clinical Engineering Administrator at Life Flora Hospital, reporting to the Senior Clinical Engineer. The incumbent will be responsible for all administrative tasks within the Clinical Engineering (CE) Department.     Critical Outputs

    • Maintenance of a sound filing, archiving and retrieval system of medical equipment records including medico-legal records, ensuring adherence to legal retention requirements.
    • Perform all administrative duties relating to the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), pro-actively identifying, reporting and taking ownership of system and end-user related errors.
    • Function as the super-user for the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), maintaining the data integrity of the CMMS and providing training for all hospital unit specific staff as and when required
    • Participate in SHEQ procedures (OHSC Act) and Quality Management Systems, as related to the Clinical Engineering department

    • Provide administrative support to the clinical engineer related to day-to-day operations, ad hoc projects, capital projects, obtaining of quotes, document control of internal and external records, coordinating and arranging of CE training sessions and workshops.

    • Strong computer literacy and competence in MS Office suite is essential
    • Post matric office administration related qualification would be an advantage
