To effectively and efficiently ensure that stock is available for sales through the planning, placement and coordination of stock orders, thereby ensuring excellent customer satisfaction on an on-going basis.
Main Objective
To plan and control stock availability through optimal forecasting in order to aid sales and operation efficiencies and minimize stockouts.
To manage the end-to-end ordering process of items both locally and internationally; including ordering, tracking and invoicing; to ensure that the organisation has the right parts at the right time to satisfy the customers on an ongoing basis.
To support the sales team by ensuring that they have accurate information available to them, in order to make sales and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
To compile accurate and detailed information to business in order to make effective decisions on an ongoing basis.
To build working relationships with suppliers to continuously improve service delivery received from them, optimise inventory availability and open communication channels across the business.
To ensure effective communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to support effective decision making for the business
Critical job requirements
Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or any relevant Qualification
3-5 years experience essential in a warehouse environment
