Planning Assistant at Barron

Job purpose

• The purpose of the Planning Assistant is to support the Planners with operational and administrative tasks associated with the role.

Key Objectives

Order scheduling

• Schedule orders according to standards provided

Communication

• Liaise with sales and production for updating and tracking of production orders
• Updating the system with current order status

Order tracking

• Liaise with relative stakeholders to ensure that the orders are on track and update systems and stakeholders accordingly 
• Resolve stock or production issues with relative stakeholders

Job cards

• Printing out of job cards for production
• Updating schedule dates onto job cards 

Qualification

• NQF 4 Matric / equivalent

• Branding Processes
