PMO Project Manager - Resourcing at CSG International

We are seeking a results-driven resource manager to assign staff to our projects and manage staff enablement within the Client Account environment. You will be determining personnel requirements, providing ongoing support to project managers, and collaborating on resource management with multiple teams within our organization.

To ensure success as a resource manager, you should possess extensive knowledge of resource allocation and ideally have experience in a similar industry. A first-class resource manager will be someone who can accurately assess resource needs and provide sufficient capacity to realize projects' goals, taking into account resource skills required and capacity within the organization and existing on the Client Account.

Resource Manager Responsibilities:

• Assigning, in conjunction with Project Directors, PM’s and Resourcing departments, available staff to projects based on their skills and experience.
• Assist with the hiring new staff in accordance with project budgets and Client Account resource requirements
• Providing CDE’s, Project Directors and Project Managers with ongoing resource management and related support.
• Monitoring employee utilization, workload, and overtime hours and ensuring employee wellness and employee promoter scores are maintained.
• Mitigating resource concerns by reallocating resources, adjusting goals, or assigning additional staff.
• Ensuring resources assigned to the Client Account have commercial coverage
• Ensuring resources assigned to the Client Account are booking time as per budgets and forecasts
• Ensuring resource internal rates assigned to the Client Account are in line with budgeted rates
• Assisting with HR processes, such as payroll administration, compensation and benefit plans, and staff training.
• Collaborating on resource management with internal departments.
• Documenting processes and maintaining records.
• Keeping informed on labor laws and trends in resource management.
• Ensuring and managing Resource retention metrics are maintained and interventions documented and tracked
• Ensuring skills matrix of resources assigned to Client Account is maintained and that account is adequately resourced from a skills perspective
• Assisting with Personal development of resources in line with their PDP’s
• Ensuring that the Cross Skill and Upskill ambitions on the Account are maintained and implemented
• Ensuring the Resource Rewards program on the Client Account is implemented and maintained, and fed into the broader Organization rewards program
• General happiness of employees is a key focus

Resource Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, or similar.
• A post-secondary qualification in business management or finance will be advantageous.
• At least 5 years experience in resource management in a similar industry.
• Proficiency in human resources and project management software.
• Experience in managing budgets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable labor laws.
