Portfolio Accountant at Network Recruitment

One of South Africa’s largest financial services brands with a legacy spanning across more than 100 years is looking to add a CA(SA) to their Johannesburg team who is results driven, a strategic thinker and thrives on leading change and innovation. The brand operates in multiple African countries and offers a vast range of products in a variety of Financial Service areas. The Portfolio Accountant role will take responsibility for portfolio reporting across various business segments, they will be responsible for the consolidations of these reports, providing assistance with the implementation of IFRS 4 and IFRS 17, focus on profit reporting as well as in-depth analysis of various deliverables.

Education:

• CA(SA) designation – non negotiable

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum 2 – 3 years post article experience within the Health, Financial Services or Insurance sectors (IFRS 17 knowledge is crucial)
• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and risk management principles
