    Portfolio Executive : Sales Account Management (PE & EC)

    About the Job
    Responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the account by managing C-Suite relationships, developing account strategies, and overseeing sales in the respective region. Accountable for the full revenue target of clients within the client grouping(s) in the respective region. Responsible for a P&L for the respective region.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Formulate and implement a strategic plan that accounts for current and future market forces and movements. This must include operational milestones that drive the company to achieve its strategic objectives.
    • Provide thought leadership and embed a culture of innovation through leveraging intellectual property and facilitate strategic innovation within the sales environment
    • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
    • Responsible for the management and effectiveness of all processes, including the identification and mitigation of strategic risk.
    • Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasts within strategic guidelines, directing and coordinating activities to achieve revenue achievement and cost containment targets
    • Plan work, communicate changes, and troubleshoot problems, assuring that the client and company commitments are kept.
    • Gain knowledge of the client’s business (and industry) often serving as the client’s first line consultant.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
    • Establish and foster a culture of performance excellence, employee engagement and transformation.

    Experience:

    • Relevant Degree (NQF 7) (IT / Engineering / Commerce) and an MBA will be an advantage.
    • 10 - 12 years’ experience, of which at least 5 years must at an Executive level. The experience must include relevant exposure to the ICT sector.
    • Incumbent must have proven business acumen with experience in C-suite stakeholder engagement
