Post Doctoral Research Fellowship: Faculty of Education at University of Fort Hare

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Open to South Africans and foreign nationals for full-time research at the University of Fort Hare.
• Preference is given to South African citizens and permanent residents
• Young and emerging scholars
• Graduated with a PhD degree in a relevant discipline within the last five years.
• Successful applicants may not hold full-time salaried employment during the fellowship.
• Successful applicants must be able to relocate to the UFH for the duration of the fellowship.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

• Conduct innovative research on institutional culture and the student experience at the UFH
• Author/co-author at least three (3) publication outputs per year in the form of DHET–accredited scholarly journal articles or books/chapters in
• The successful candidate will be required to conduct innovative research and obtain evidenced-based empirical data on Teacher education and developments in relation to Economics Education and Economic and Management Sciences (EMS).
• The postdoctoral research fellow shall reside in East London to access facilities at UFH East London Campus and participate in relevant activities of the School of Postgraduate Studies.
