Responsibilities;

• Develop and maintain robust Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps) objects providing actionable insights to support business decision-making.
• Develop ad-hoc and special-use reports as requested.
• Leverage database systems including CRM, data marts, and models needed for business, financial and operational analysis, and Business Intelligence reporting with Power BI in on-premises or cloud environment.
• Design and optimize methods to connect to data sources to inspect, mine, transform, and model data from various sources to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage.
• Define future state data model required for reporting and Power Platform needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and data quality enhancement, and implement appropriate solutions.
• Ensure accurate, efficient reporting and data integration between different systems, as well as support and enhance analytics solutions.
• Analyze, design, develop, implement, and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and system design documents. (Artifacts such as report design, data sources, data maps, data models, and metadata)
• Gather and analyze requirements (e.g. functional and non-functional business requirements) from business stakeholders to determine the best course of action, understand data needs, and translate them into effective Power Platform solutions.
• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in Power Platform to continuously improve Morae’s reporting capabilities, and lead and demonstrate emerging technologies and concepts to internal teams.
