PowerBI Developer at Foundever

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions for Foundever™.  It is vital that you have a strong understanding of data analysis and visualisation and you can develop data models that effectively support our business

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Modelling and Analysis:

• Design and develop data models that effectively support business requirements.
• Transform raw data into meaningful insights using Power BI.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of data presented in dashboards and reports.

Visualisation and Reporting:

• Create interactive dashboards and visually appealing reports using Power BI.
• Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable information.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical aspects.

Business Intelligence Services:

• Leverage Power BI to provide business intelligence services.
• Surface Power BI reports that collect meaningful business insights.

ABOUT YOU

• 2–3 years previous experience in a reporting and data modelling role.
• You will possess excellent numerical and communication skills with a strong business acumen.

Power BI Expertise:

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Ability to create interactive dashboards and reports.

Technical Skills:

• Excel: Familiarity with Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• VBA (Visual Basic for Applications): Experience in writing VBA scripts for Excel automation.
• C#: Knowledge of C# programming language.
• SQL: Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.

Additional Tools and Platforms:

• Business Objects: Understanding of SAP Business Objects for reporting and analytics.
• Avaya: Familiarity with Avaya communication systems.
• NICE: Knowledge of NICE systems for contact centre solutions.

YOUR PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE

• Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to clearly and effectively communicate face to face and over the phone.
• Industry: 2-3 years proven success as a systems developer.
• Organised: The ability to multi-task and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
• Adaptability: The ability to handle a wide variety of tasks and stakeholder interactions  adjusting your communication style as necessary.
• Friendly: The ability to remain positive, friendly and upbeat even during difficult interactions.
• Advantageous: Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-action business environment.
• Education: Minimum Grade 12 & Certifications in PowerBI, SQL, or related fields.
